Recessed Lighting
Keep the fixture within the ceiling with recessed lighting. The light can provide broader room illumination or a more focused beam, depending on the design, while leaving a compact visible trim at the ceiling surface.
Start with the installation requirements: the specified cutout, available depth and any required housing or junction box. A nominal fixture size is not a substitute for the actual opening measurement. Check insulation-contact suitability where the fixture may meet insulation, along with the rating for the room's moisture conditions. Then compare light output, beam spread and any aiming adjustment. Color temperature and dimming controls should match the rest of the lighting plan and be confirmed for the selected model.
