Lighting Timers
Put compatible lights on a repeatable schedule with a lighting timer. A plug-in timer sits between an outlet and the connected lamp or device, letting its on and off periods follow the settings you choose.
Match the timer to the outlet, supply voltage and type of load it will control. Check the permitted load rating for that application rather than assuming all connected devices use the same limit. Compare the scheduling cycle and the smallest selectable interval with your routine. For a mechanical timer, review how the clock is set and what happens after a power interruption. Use the timer only in the environment specified by its manufacturer, even when the connected light is elsewhere.
